I bought my dress last Monday. It was a stressful experience, but the dress is amazing.

I hate how society makes its memebrs feel as though they have to do certain things, own certain things, and behave in a certain way. For instance--weddings. Okay, maybe I don't want to pay $1,000 for a dress. Maybe I don't want to wear a veil. Maybe I don't want to dance all night long with family and friends because I would rather be making long awaited love to my husband. Sorry if that is too much information for some people, but it's true! I think people have forgotten the true meaning of marriage. At the end of the day, Philip and I will be husband and wife. That's all I really care about anyway. However, I will say that weddings are a lot of fun, and I hope ours will be, too.

I'm still engaged.

Wedding planning is stressful but getting better. Philip wants to lose weight while I eat cheeseburgers, not worrying about fitting into my dress. However, I have been warned that birth control will make my boobs big (maybe not a bad thing, eh?) so I have left a lot of room in the bust of my dress. The Asian saleswoman said, "You wear padded bra. No worry. Your fiance will like!"

I'm engaged. Yipeee!! Oh, and so is Philip.

Welcome to my life. Can you believe that I am most likely going to marry this guy? Today is my birthday, so, "Happy Birthday to me." Andy Eaton said that I am the youngest 26-year-old that he knows. That makes me happy.
